Hey, Trevor. Happy to help out here.
We do carry all the parts you need to be able to flat tow your 2008 Mini Cooper S, especially with the Sport Suspension. I reached out to Roadmaster just to make sure of the baseplate fitment. I'll list all the parts below for you.
Roadmaster EZ Base Plate Kit Part # 521876-1
etrailer XHD Non-Binding Tow Bar Part # e64ZR
Roadmaster Bulb and Socket Tail Light Wiring Kit Part # RM-155
I know most people don't use a braking system when flat towing a Mini, so the parts above are what you would need at a minimum. If you want to install a braking system, I'll add those parts below.
Demco Stay-IN-Play Duo Braking System Part # DM86VR
Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit Part # RM-88400
Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit Part # RM-156-25
Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit for a Mini Cooper Part # RM-751440
Have you flat towed before, or will this be your first vehicle you're setting up to be flat towed?

I installed the baseplate on my 2008 Mini Cooper S Clubman about a year ago. So far, all is good and we have towed our Mini to Kentucky and Michigan UP. I did this myself, and it went without a hitch, but I used an older tow bar that was given to me. No issues with the install and no special cutting or filing was needed. Now my Mini looks like it has two missile launchers in the grille! Overall, I am very satisfied with the product and would recommend it, but if you have any back issues, get someone else to do the install. Some Ben Gay and Aspirin did the trick for me.

Thanks Gwendolyn. I just bought the Mini and now realize it also has the JCW Aero Kit, which I think means the standard base plate won't fit. This would be my first flat tow, using a 2019 Leisure Travel Vans Unity.
