Question:

Model no CGG-403P cuisinart 3 pizza grill. Is there an RV quick connect compatible? Thanks.

Hello Jackie,

Great question.

The Cuisinart CGG-403P has a 3/8" male flare fitting on the back where the regulated hose connects for a standard propane tank.

The MB Sturgis Propane Adapter Hose - Model 250 Quick-Disconnect x 3/8" Female Flare - 10' # 100304-120-MBS has the correct 3/8" female flare that will thread directly onto the pizza grill once you remove the factory regulator hose. The quick-disconnect end will then plug right into your RV’s propane quick connect.

Have you had a chance to try out the pizza grill yet? I love making homemade pizza and have been meaning to get one myself, I just haven’t pulled the trigger yet. If you have used it, what was the first pizza you made in it?

Thanks!! We did frozen pizza with lots of add ons and it was perfect. It gets super hot quick!!! A bit concerned about makiing change to rv adapter. Cuisinart called and did not recommend. I wonder if the long reach would effect the btu needed for this super hot pizza setting. Thanks for the reply!!! E-Trailer is terrific.

@JackieB You definitely want to follow the manufacturer’s recommendations. They likely specify this to ensure the grill is only used with the regulator it was designed and tested with, and to prevent issues like double regulation. If you tried connecting it to the RV quick connect while still using the factory regulator hose, it likely would not get sufficient propane flow and the grill may not perform properly. I am glad I am not the only one that has to put more topping on a frozen pizza =)
