Does Pop and Lock Tailgate Lock for 2010 Honda Ridgeline Lock both Ways Tailgate Opens

So the 2010 ridgeline tailgate can be opened two ways. Down and like a swing door. Does this lock both of those or just the down? Thank you

Hey John, yes the Pop and Lock Tailgate Lock part # PAL8600 you referenced that fits your 2010 Honda Ridgeline does lock the tailgate in both ways that it opens. Folding down or opening to the side. Do you have a tonneau cover?
