Question:

This is regarding the Thule Allax Large Compact Double dog Crate. I have a question about the door of the crate when it opens. It looks like when the door is open it is taller than the crate because of the angle. I was wondering if the hatch of my Toyota Sienna would interfere with the door opening. I currently have a Variocage which is almost exactly the same size so I know the Thule Allax will fit. Im just wondering about the door. Hope this makes sense.

I did some research into the crat that you currently have and compared it to the Thule Allax Double Travel Dog Crate part # TH34FR66PX and the doors look like they both swing upwards at a slight angle. The Door on the Thule Allax would only add a 2-3 inches at most so clearance wise for your Toyota Sienna, you should have no issues opening the doors of the crate.
