Question:

Hi, Im looking for a wiring harness for a 2026 Kia Sportage Hybrid EX Premium Canadian model. The kit apparently is different from the 4th generation, non-hybrid in that it plugs into both tail lights. My research has come up with 3 possible solutions: Curt 56236, Curt 56321 or Tekonsha TK32VR, with the first being the most likely. Can you confirm if any/all of these will work? Thanks,

Hey David! You're on the right track with the # C56236 since it is a universal wiring harness. However, I would get the # C59236 which includes the 15A fuse for additional protection. The other two options are not a fit for your Kia Sportage.

If you want to avoid splicing since it is a hybrid you can also use the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness # 119250KIT. This harness is also universal and has sensors that clamp onto your vehicle wiring.

What do you plan to tow first with your Sportage?
