Good afternoon Mark, great question - and this is where a lot of people get tripped up (no pun intended).

The PopStep covers, along with any other step cover, are sized by the actual step width, not your doorway width.

So even though your doorway measures 26", if your SolidStep treads measure 24" across from edge to edge, then you want the 24 inch PopStep kit like # PS27UR for 2-step or # PS87UR for 3-step.

Grab a tape measure and measure the flat stepping surface itself - not the frame and not the doorway flange.
