Is Furrion Chill Cube on Brinkley RV Compatible With Heat Strip

Question:
I have a Brinkley RV that has a Furrion FACR18VS-SA-PS air conditioning unit for the main living area. It has a heat mode light but it will not go into that mode. I was wondering if this unit was compatible with one of the Furrion heat strips you offer and if that might allow the unit to also provide heat. I have included a photo of the nameplate on the AC unit I have. Thank you!

Hi Randy; that part number corresponds with the OEM Chill Cube. At this time, there are no heat strips available from Furrion. They have said they are developing one, but it has been over a year with no word on an ETA. The only option for heat on a Chill Cube right now is to swap it out with the new heat pump models. I'm assuming you have a ducted setup so you can choose from the following:
-Furrion Variable Speed Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w/ Heat Pump - Ducted - 18K Btu - White - R32 # FR24TQ
-Furrion Variable Speed Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w/ Heat Pump - Ducted - 18K Btu - Black - R32 # FR84TQ
These are just the AC units. Make sure to double check that the system is in fact the Chill Cube. You already have the ADB so the AC unit is all that is required. If you don't want to go that route I recommend adding a space heater like # XH47FR or even an RV fireplace.
