Will Coil SumoSprings Fit 2024 Expedition Timberline

Question:

I have a 2024 Ford expedition timberline trim. I would to confirm that the sumo springs will fit this trim. It is a four-wheel-drive with a 3 inch factory lift.

Hey Mark! Yes, the Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs # CSS-1168R will still fit the coil springs on your 2024 Expedition. This works with all models, including the Timberline with that factory suspension lift.

Are you adding these for extra support while towing or something else?

@MarkL I put these on a heavily loaded Kia Sedona. They really helped the squat I was getting. Much more of a level ride. They’re still on there after a year and a half, and I don’t notice any difference in handling while it’s empty. Super easy to install. This is definitely the best solution short of buying an F-350.

I put a set of these on a 2022 Toyota Sienna AWD, and they raised the back end maybe 1-1/2". This did not affect the ride with no trailer. I pull a 3500 lb trailer with anti-sway bars, and I was able to adjust the rig out so that the car sits level, as does the trailer. I found it critical to adjust the anti-sway bars for best ride. If I over-tensioned them, the car would "hunt" up and down after each bump. When adjusated correctly, the ride was level and solid. The rubber springs were fairly easy to install. The videos on the website helped.
