If you're wanting to use the # e88YR extender on a bike rack installed on a Jeep Wrangler that's being flat towed, that'd be fine. Just keep in mind that using the extender will decrease the tongue weight capacity of the hitch by half. Say for instance the tongue weight capacity of your hitch is 350 lbs. Using the adapter would halve that to 175 lbs, which means that the bike rack you use and the bikes placed upon it could not weigh more than 175 lbs.
I realize sometimes they're necessary, but this is why I don't usually recommend hitch adapters/extenders.
