Updated 02/11/2026 | Published 01/30/2026

Question:

I am working on an RV and need high quality flexible water lines for both cold and hot water and needs to be for drinkable water. It also needs to be able to bend in tight spaces. Do you have one you recommend?

Hey Eric, thanks for reaching out. For what you’re doing, the Flair-It High Pressure Hose # FL57FR is a really solid choice. It’s rated for potable (drinking) water, safe for both hot and cold lines, and the braided construction gives it excellent durability without making it stiff. That braid also helps it hold shape and resist kinking, which makes it much easier to route through tight RV spaces compared to standard vinyl tubing. If you’re looking for something flexible that still feels confidence-inspiring once it’s in place, this is exactly what I’d use for a clean, long-term solution.

What part of your water system are you running this for? Is 10' enough?

Perfect! Yes, I think 10 feet will work. Does it use automotive style hose clamps?

Thank you for the help. I ordered the water hose. Can you tell me if this will also work as a straw if submersed in the fresh water tank or if you suggest something different for that?

@EricP Yes you can submerge one end in the tank and it'll work like a straw or siphon. It's completely suitable for that.
