Can BAKFlip F1 Be Partially Open While Operating 2025 GMC 3500 Long Bed

Is there a way to strap the cover open with just 2 panels opened? 2025 GMC 3500 8foot bed.

Hey Scott! It is not possible to use your vehicle with the BAKFlip F1 # BAK37FR partially open like that. The only acceptable positions while operating the vehicle are folded up (all the way to the header) and flipped up. See the attached photo.
Is there a specific reason you want to leave it half way open? A better choice for that would be a retractable cover like the Pace Edwards JackRabbit # PE54UV. This can be locked out at any point along the rails.

This was my second Pace Edwards (JackRabbit) tonneau cover. My first was on my 2021 Ram 6’ bed that worked perfectly but unfortunately I sold that truck and tonneau cover in 2024. Next, I purchased a 2024 Chevy 1-ton Dually and that Pace Edwards tonneau cover again worked perfectly but I just sold that truck a week ago. I would rate them ***** (5) star.
