Availability Of Replacement C-Clamps For Older Style Thule Xsporter

Updated 02/11/2026 | Published 01/19/2026

Question:

I have the older style Thule xsporter. I need 2 of the c-clamps. They will be used on a 2104 Nissan Frontier. I’m not opposed to removing the factory rails.

Hey Mark, thanks for reaching out. I am sorry to say we no longer carry the replacement C-clamps for the older style Thule Xsporter. So, if what you have is the original Xsporter 422XT model (clamp pictured below), we do not have those.

The Replacement Bed Rail Clamp # 8523159001 you were looking at is only for the current Xsporter Pro models # TH500 and # TH500XT. These attach differently than the old Xsporter clamps.

You may want to try reaching out to Thule to see if they can provide the clamp you need. That or try finding one secondhand.

Hey Mark, were you able to find the older style C-clamps for your Thule Xsporter or get help from Thule directly? Knowing what worked could help others with the same rack setup.

@JesseM I reached out to Thule and was told the product has been discontinued and they no longer have any in stock. Unfortunately, they didn’t offer any alternatives. For now, I’m planning to keep an eye on eBay and see if any turn up. In the meantime, I’ll look into whether another type of clamp might work — I only need two. I appreciate you checking in.
