Question:
Hey I have a 2022 Sunray sunset rv camper and the hitch lock what locks the ball onto the truck hitch dismantled on the freeway and broke. Do you have any recommendations on how I can fix this certain part since the hitch is attached to the entire trailer?

Hi Angel, sorry to hear that happened. Are you referring to an actual lock on your coupler? Or did the coupler itself come apart while attached to the ball mount. Was it the latch on the coupler? There are repair kits depending on what you have if that is the case.
If it is severely damaged, or can't be repaired, you will need to remove the existing coupler and install a new one like the Demco Cast Head Coupler # DM37ZR.
Feel free to send me some pictures if it is difficult to describe. If you reply to the email with the link for this page and attach your pictures they will come directly to me.

I had to replace my old one as the hitch came off and hit my tailgate. Luckily I was just loading trailer so no major damage so I got this hitch for replacement and very happy with it. The original I had to grind off but the new one just had to drill holes and bolt back one which I feel much safer then me welding one on
