Features to Know About

Add Solar Capacity Your Way: One 200-Watt Panel for Compatible Systems

You may not need an entire solar kit when one panel is damaged or your current array needs a little more capacity. This 200-watt panel gives you a practical way to replace a compatible panel or expand an existing 12V solar setup without purchasing components you already have. It can be wired in series or parallel as your system allows, giving you room to build an array around your battery bank, available mounting space, and daily power needs.

Make Better Use of Changing Sunlight: Monocrystalline Cells Support Steady Output

Solar conditions rarely stay the same all day. Morning light, passing clouds, and changing sun angles can reduce the energy reaching your roof. The panel's N-Type TopCon monocrystalline cells are designed to collect available sunlight efficiently, helping your system continue charging as conditions change. Anti-reflective glass allows more sunlight to reach the cells, helping the panel make better use of the space it occupies on your RV, van, boat, or other solar setup.

Leave It Mounted Through Changing Weather: Durable Materials Protect the Panel

A permanently mounted panel has to handle more than sunny afternoons. Tempered glass, an anodized aluminum frame, and water-resistant connections help protect it from regular travel and exposure to outdoor conditions. The panel is tested for wind, snow, and hail loads, so it is prepared for the changing conditions your rig may encounter throughout the year.

Replace or Expand More Easily: Common Mounting Options Simplify Planning

mc4 cables

Pre-drilled frame holes work with common ground mounts, Z-brackets, pole mounts, and tilt mounts, giving you flexibility when planning the installation. Industry-standard solar connectors also make it easier to connect the panel to compatible wiring and equipment. At 24 lbs, the panel is manageable to position while you line up mounting points and connections. You can add the solar capacity you need without rebuilding the rest of your system.

Video Transcript for Review of Rich Solar Mega 200 Solar Panel - RS23FR

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Rich Solar Mega 200 solar panel. Now this solar panel is gonna be a great option for you to consider if you're seeking a reliable and efficient solar solution for off-grid applications like on your RV or boats, cabins, and tiny homes just to name a few ways in which this would be very useful for you. This is going to give you a substantial 200 watts of power. That's gonna be suitable for charging your 12-volt batteries and powering various devices, and this utilizes monocrystalline cells with a high conversion efficiency, and that's going to ensure optimal energy capture even in limited sunlight conditions, and let me see if I can just turn this around here.

I just kind of have it balanced on my table here, but I want to give you a view of the backside here, so I'm gonna line this up. What I wanted to show you here, a few things, is on this frame, slide that in there, we have these pre-drilled holes, hopefully you can see that, so that's going to help simplify mounting with various mounting systems like Z brackets, which we do carry here at etrailer.com, and tilt mounts, and then as you can see here on the other side, while we're looking at the back here, we do have a plug-and-play junction box here, so this is gonna be ready to be plugged in with the appropriate cables that you might have or with the system that you're putting together, and this really has a pretty robust construction. There's a nice weight to it. It doesn't feel flimsy. (panel solid knocking) I think it weighs about 20 or maybe about 25 pounds or so, so it's got a good weight to it, but it does have a anodized aluminum frame and then an anti-reflective tempered glass, so I think this is gonna give you quite a bit of durability against harsh environmental conditions.

Let me make sure I'm gonna be balanced here again. So let me give you some measurements just so you have a good idea of the size. I went ahead and measured it before our time together. So looking at the overall length from end to end, we we inchesre sitting pretty close to 58-5/8 inches long, the overall width about 26-3/4 inches wide, and then the thickness about 1 to 1-1/8 inches thick, so not terribly thick in regards to it like sitting or mounted on your roof. It's not going to take up a whole lot of height on your roof, which is nice.

But, again, at about 25, 26 pounds, it's not terribly heavy but I think it's well constructed. But if you do pick this up, we would love to hear back from you regarding your experience with getting this mounted into place and using it, and if you leave a review you can actually share photos as well and you can show us how you have this set up and how it's working out for you, but we definitely want to hear back from you, and solar can be kind of a confusing thing as well, so if you have any other additional questions, don't hesitate to give us a call. We want to make sure that you're getting exactly what you want and need, and also we do have a solar calculator on our website as well that can help you determine what exactly you're going to need depending on what you need to power. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you.

Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

Solid panel when you’re ready to expand or replace

Hey folks Andy here If you’re looking to add more power to your solar setup or replace a panel that’s past its prime this Rich Solar 200 watt panel is a solid choice

It’s built tough tested for hail wind and snow and holds up well on the road Whether it is mounted on a roof rack cargo trailer or the top of your van this panel is made for travel and off grid use

The power output is strong and steady and it works well even when the weather is not great That’s thanks to the monocrystalline solar cells built into the panel

Think of it like this:

Monocrystalline panels are made from high quality solar cells cut from a single piece of silicon That means they are more efficient than cheaper polycrystalline panels

In real life that means:

Better performance when it’s cloudy or the sun is low in the sky

Takes up less space to produce the same amount of power

Lasts longer over time with fewer power drops as it ages

So if you camp in the shade sometimes or park for long stays you’ll still be getting useful charging even on off days
