Does Blue Ox Base Plate Kit for Sprinter Fit 4WD and 2WD Models

Question:
Is that part fits on all Sprinter 2500 van 2025, like a 4WD or only 2WD models ? im looking to buy a Sprinter Van to tow behind my motorhome. just wanna make sure that there no restriction. thanks

Hey Pier, the Blue Ox base plate kit part # BLU33MR does fit both the 4WD and the 2WD versions of your 2025 Mercedes Sprinter. So either version you go with it will work great! Do you have a tow bar already?

I just installed the blue ox baseplate to my 2025 Sprinter 2500 and it fit perfectly. It mounts to the end of the frame rails so it cannot be used with most aftermarket bumpers. When you buy a sprinter for flat lowing, it will need to be 2WD(2024 or newer), or can be 4WD (on the 2023 or older)require a driveshaft disconnect, and need to ideally have a manual parking brake vs electric.
