I have 2010 Toyota Matrix. I already have roof rack. I want to put a cargo basket. What do you recommend that can easily be put on and taken off. So that I can put it on and use it on an as needed basis.

Almost all roof mounted cargo baskets use similar mounting hardware, so they will all involve the same amount of difficulty when it comes to installing and removing. I recommend looking into a lightweight basket if you plan on installing and removing the basket frequently.

One cargo box I recommend looking at is the Rhino-Rack Cargo Basket, # RMCB. This basket weighs 31 lbs and the mounting hardware is easy to adjust so you do not have to change the position of your crossbars each time you want to use the basket. I recommend checking your owners manual or with your local Toyota dealer to verify the weight capacity of your roof. This cargo basket has a weight capacity of 165 lbs, but if your roof is rated at a lower capacity, you must go by that rating.
