Question:
Can you explain the difference needed to make sure we are safe if we down size from a 235/75/R15 to a 225/75/R15 tire. I am having trouble finding any reliable information online

Hey Chris, the size difference between a 235/75/R15 and a 225/75/R15 tire is very small and would not be an issue to go from one to the other. You honestly wouldn't even notice a difference. It's a width difference of 10 mm and a height difference of .6 of an inch. Since that height difference is split between either side of the wheel the height change would only be .3 of an inch.
In the smaller size we have the part # AM10303 which is speed rated for 81 mph and has a capacity of 2,860 lbs at 80 psi.
