Do Unused Ports of RV Propane Manifold Have to Be Plugged

I have two questions: 1. I ordered a six port LP Gas Manifold but currently only have one supply line and four devices, can I still use the manifold with one unused port without leakage? 2. Can I hookup the supply line to any port? Thanks.

Hey Carvin, looks like you ordered the manifold part # JR85CR which will need the plug part # JR25CR for the unused ports. The supply line can be hooked up to any of the ports as well.

I hope this is true because I know when I blew air through Port 1 it was coming out of all ports. I have not installed any lines as of yet.

@CarvinB I'm sorry! You do actually need a plug which we have with the part # JR25CR. I don't know why I didn't remember this was the case.

Hey James, welcome back. Do your lines still have pressure in them? It's going to be pretty difficult if not impossible to get the adapter like item #JR52CR out of the Gas Manifold item #JR85CR if the lines pressurized.

In order to determine the torque rating for the lug nuts on your trailer you will need to know check out the chart I attached that shows all of the torque specs for all the trailer lugs available based on stud size, wheel material and wheel size.
