Question:

Bought a 2010 Ford F-150 with a Yakima Kayak roof rack. Owner had dementia and wife couldnt locate rack keys. Can you supply a replacement? I can send photos.

Hey Neil. We've got a few pages of replacement keys for Yakima roof racks like the A147 item # Y8772-A147 so we should have something that works. If your Yakima roof rack uses the same key system you can use the Control Key item # Y8007835 to remove the lock core as long as the lock is not locked.

If the lock is locked you will need to visit a local locksmith to have the cylinder unlocked before you can remove the core. Once the core is removed you will be able to find the key number on the side of the core like you see on Core item # Y8771-A139. Once you have this I can help you locate the correct key or a new core and key if the one you have is no longer available.
