Question:

My Yakima bike rack keys were stolen. How can I get key replacements for my lock. Please see attached pictures of the lock. I have the Yakima HoldUp 2 Bike Carrier

In order to get replacement keys for a Yakima bike rack, cargo carrier, roof rack etc. like the Yakima HoldUp 2 Bike Rack part # Y02443 you'll need to know the key code. If you don't have this and the lock cores are unlocked you can use the control key part # Y8007835 to remove one of the cores and then read the key number on the side of the lock. Once you have this, search for part Y8772-A### with the ### being the code like part # Y8772-A154 for example which has the 154 code. If the lock cores are locked you'd need to drill them out and replace them with the Yakima Same Key System part # Y07204 or you can just order this and you would not have to order the control key just to get the key number then place another order for the correct key.
