I need a hidden hitch for a 2022 Honda Odyssey van - trim level is Elite. This van has a foot-motion activated kick sensor for the rear tailgate.

Hey Keith, Happy New Year! To add a Hidden Hitch to your 2022 Honda Odyssey Elite, you'll need item # DT76GR. This hitch is custom fit for your van, comes with all necessary installation hardware, and includes the conveniently removable 2" receiver. With this you will have a 3,500 lbs towing capacity and a maximum tongue weight of 350 lbs.

With the removable receiver installed you're not going to be able to use the kick sensor around the center of your van. You won't want to anyways because you'll end up kicking the thing. You'll just need to go to the left or right. Once you take if off you'll have the entire range back. The crosstube of the item # DT76GR mounts entirely behind the rear bumper so you won't even see it.
