Question:
I want to find out if LaSalle makes a gate valve with a 24 cable. I own a 2005 Newmar Kountry Star gate is stuck open. I looked at Lasalle Bristol 34466N4AB48GM and also saw there is a 36, but both of these would be excess cable for my 24 if possible?

Hey Chris. The 36" Cable LaSalle Bristol Cable-Actuated RV Waste Valve for Black Water Tank item # 34466N4AB36GM is the shortest option available. This waste valve has a 36" cable and fits a 3" diameter black-water sewer pipe.

You can cut the cable to any length you want that’s what I did. I needed the 24 and the 36 is the smallest so you just look it up on YouTube they’ll show you how to cut for the length that you need.

The shortened the one i bought and made it a straight cable run. Glad i did because the valve works great and when flushing it get moved a lot.
