Can Rich Solar Bravo Solar Controller Replace Zamp ZS-30A on 2020 Winnebago Travato 59K

Question:

Have 2020 Winnebago Travato 59K converted to 12V LIthium batteries. Want to change my Zamp ZS-30A controller to MPPT. Need WALL FLUSH-MOUNT controller panel located on interior wall behind bed Have 315W of solar panels, but ok with more capacity. Can this Rich Solar RS25FR controller replace my Zamp PWM? Might need to make wall hole bigger but depth is close. Im not sure if specs and connections ok. My Zamp ZS-30A specs: 12v, max input 25V, output 12v, output 30A, max solar capacity 510W. Also, how well is Rich Solar rated? Dont see much on them. I go off grid alot and need quality I can count on. Thanks if you can help with this!

Hey Chris! You can replace your Zamp ZS-30A with the Rich Solar Bravo Flush 30 MPPT Solar Charge Controller # RS25FR. The connections on solar controllers like these are pretty universal so you won't have any issues swapping the wires over from your panels and battery.

This requires a cutout that is 6.772" wide x 5.512" high and then the back part that goes into the wall is 1.693" deep. You can compare that to what you have now and see if you will have to modify the existing cutout. Rich Solar is a reliable and reputable brand and, although you can also contact us for help, they have U.S. based support which you don't get from some of these other solar companies.
