I'm not intimately familiar with the Highlander, but I find that it has the same engine (2GR-FE) as the 3rd gen Tacoma. This block heater will fit in your block. If it's anything like the Tacoma, getting to the spot on the block is a challenge. The challenge is worth it. Having heat almost immediately is great!
