Question:

Hi I’d like to install a tailgate light bar on my vehicle without having to tap into vehicles wire. I’d like to do some type of plug and play. But when I find a plug and play type harnes that connects to 7 way it says will not work I vehicle has a trailer tow package which I have. So do you have anything I may be able to use without splicing to vehicles wires. I have a 2021 Chevy Colorado LT with trailer tow package. Thank you

Hey Jose, since your 2021 Chevy Colorado has a factory 7-way you could essentially use any light bar designed to be powered by a 7-way like the part # P57CR assuming it's correct size for your truck. This kit is designed to plug inline with a USCAR style 7-way which would be what you'd have on your 2021 Chevy Colorado. This kit has two 18 inch long sections that go on either side under the tailgate.

For a similar one that is 60 inches long we have the Putco Blade kit part # P82KR.

Basically all 7-ways that you see out there on trucks are the same design so if you see something designed to fit a 7-way it will work for your truck.
