How Does Sharp R-820BK Attach to RV Cabinets

Question:
I am replacing Sharp R-820BK in a chinook glacier, over the counter. I think Furrion FR77ad will fit nicely in the cut out and trim. Do you have any idea how to pull the old sharp out of the cabinet so I can measure the opening for myself and understand how the FR77ad will fit in? photos attached thanks much! Steve

Hey Steve, most RV microwaves attach to the bottom of the cabinet above it but yours looks like it's in the faceplate that surrounds the microwave to the cabinet behind it. I would remove those screws and most likely that's it but if not it should be obvious at that point.

Hey Steve, how did things go with removing the old Sharp microwave from your Chinook Glacier? Were you able to get the measurements you needed for the Furrion unit? Your update could make it easier for others working on a similar replacement.
