How To Prevent Squatting On A 2025 F350 Dually With Heavy Truck Bed Camper
Published 12/08/2025 >
Question:
I’m loading a hard-side truck camper onto my 2025 F-350 dually, and the rear drops a couple inches. Would this Firestone kit help level things out? Or is it not made for that setup. thanks! somewhat new to towing in general.

Hey Renee! Yes, truck campers do put constant weight directly over the rear axle, and the Firestone air bag kit # F44XV gives you the tuning you need to bring the truck back to a level, stable stance.
The single-path compressor inflates both bags evenly, which is exactly what you want with a centered camper load. And since the system adjusts from 5–100 psi, you can set it soft when unloaded and bring it up only when the camper is mounted. It's also nice since this setup works with in bed hitches like goosenecks and 5th wheels.
Do you happen to know the camper’s wet weight?
