Does Repeater of Tireminder Smart TPMS Have to be Used
Published 12/02/2025 >
Question:
Is the repeater necessary? I have a 20foot travel trailer where the BT sensors might reach without the repeater as its easily within BT range. Can I try the install without it, is it technically possible it will work?

Hey Paul, there's definitely a chance the repeater of the Tireminder Smart TPMS part # TM26FR wouldn't be needed so if you wanted to try installing kit without it there's no reason you couldn't. Nothing would be harmed by attempting to do so. And if it doesn't you can always then install the repeater.
