Can Thule Wingbar Evo Roof Rack Install Further Back then Recommended

Question:
Can the Thule Wingbar Evo crossrails be mounted further apart than recommended? What id like to do is mount the back one close to the back of the cab. Thanks!

Hey Patrick, it depends on the vehicle and the roof rack setup but generally no you can't use a different bar location on the roof of a vehicle...UNLESS the vehicle has raised side rails that the roof rack attaches to and you can just slide the bars on the rails. What vehicle do you have?
