Question:

I have 2023 class c with dometic. “ GE” 150000 btu ducted system Unfortunately vandalism destroyed my unit. Need to replace. Do I need a kit with ac unit. Control unit thermostate and inside plate part number GE35ZR. My old model number is ARC15AACBH2.make GE If I need to do kit will the new thermostate run my propane furnace. Does the new thermostat have a heat mode? Or is my thermostat and control unit comparable with just a ac unit

Hey Bob, you will want a kit that includes everything including the air box and new thermostat because this year all of the RV AC Units had to move to a new refrigerant and that means the older lower vent assemblies do not work with the current upper assemblies.

So you would need a kit like the part # GE35ZR which comes with those components. The thermostat does have ability to control a furnace as well.

@JamesonC I received my unit yesterday I installed it today. Having problems. 12 volt power going into control unit from rv but no power coming out of control unit to thermostats. ABC wires. Thermo won’t light up. Wires are good. I called your representative and they are sending a new control unit. I have triple checked everything. Hop it takes care of problem. Another question up in the top unit ther is a 6 prong long wire do I plug that into the control board. “No mention in instructions” looks like sensors “2” of them one next to blower and one to evap pipe.

@BobW Are you using old thermostat wiring or what came with the kit? Is there an obvious area the 6 prong connector should be plugged into that you can see?
