Recommended 17-1/2" Wheel w/ a 10 on 8-3/4 Lug Nut Pattern

Updated 12/08/2025 | Published 11/13/2025

Question:

I have a pintle hitch equipment trailer that has 17.5 inch wheels and tires on it. I understand that these wheels have become common recently. I would like to get an additional wheel/tire to use as a spare. I see the 8 lug, 17.5 inch wheels all over the place, but my trailer uses 10 lug wheels. I’m struggling to find them anywhere. Would you happen to have them or know where I could find them? Thanks!

I sure do Zack. We have the Taskmaster Steel Dual Wheel item # TA29MR that measures 17-1/2" x 6-3/4" and fits a 10 on 8-3/4 lug nut pattern. This wheel has a ±6.19" offset, a 6.5" pilot hole diameter, and a 6,200 lbs capacity. We also have this wheel with a 215/75R17.5 Radial Tire item # TA56MR.

These are both dually wheels, we do not have an option for a 10 lug wheel that isn't a dually style.

Who manufactured your pintle hitch equipment trailer and what model is it?

Hey Zack, did you find out who made your pintle hitch equipment trailer and which model it is? That info could help narrow down whether one of the 10-lug dually wheels fits your setup. Your update could make it easier for others trying to match a spare for similar trailers.
