Question:

Our 2017 Keystone Cougar slide is carpeted. Will that affect how the legs sit on the Driftwood TP69KR?

Not much, Ron. The Driftwood # TP69KR, McCoy # TP79KR, and Dellmead # TP49KR all have wide, flat wooden feet that spread weight evenly. On carpet, you might notice a tiny bit of compression at first, but it’ll settle quickly. If you wanted you could add a carpet saver disc underneath, but I don't really think it's necessary.

What do you currently use in that space?

We got it set up on our carpet slide last night. It feels steady, but I might grab those carpet protector discs you mentioned just in case.

@Ron Sounds perfect, Ron - those discs can be found locally or online and they are a nice touch if you want to spread the load a little more, but you’ll probably be fine without them. Really just preference! How’d the color look next to your flooring? The Thomas Payne furniture tends to brighten a Cougar interior really nicely.

@AndrewN I ended up skipping the discs and it’s been rock solid. The Driftwood actually matches our carpet almost perfectly, way better than I expected.
