Roof Rack for 2025 Honda Passport to Carry Thule Roof Cargo Box

Question:
Greetings. We have a new Honda Passport Trailsport. Our package included the roof rack instead of rails. We have a Thule Motion XL. The Quick Fit clamps do not go deep enough to secure to the crossbars. Any suggestions?

Hey John, from what I looked up it looks like the factory crossbars of your 2025 Honda Passport do attach to raised rails that run front to back on the roof of your vehicle. So you could install a Thule Wingbar Evo part # TH52ZA to those raised rails and that would work for your Thule Motion XL to attach to. If your roof doesn't match that let me know and I'll see if there's a better option.

Thanks Jameson but that’s not what I’m talking about. I have the factory crossbars in my garage. They were not installed because the TrailSport Elite package has a cargo basket carrier attached to the rails. Our Thule will not attach to that with Quick Fit brackets we have.
