Thanks for your question, Ryan.
So I did some research on this for you. It looks like Yakima no longer makes the RailBars, so I wasn’t able to find specific information on them. However, I did find that the # Y00432-2 bars are 37-3/4" long.
Thule offers a similar bar system, part # TH22VA, which measures 37-1/2" long, so I’m pretty confident the RailBars will also work on your VW. You can double-check your crossbar spread to make sure it’s 27", as that’s the minimum needed for the RailBars to fit.
