Hi Andrew!
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C46DR is meant to be bolted onto the frame of your 2025 Nissan Pathfinder. There are factory weld nuts in your frame (see included instructions), which makes this a pretty easy install.
You could technically weld it on, but that would likely void the warranty and we couldn't say with 100% certainty if the towing or tongue weight specs would be the same. So I would just bolt it on if I were doing it.
What are you wanting to use the hitch for?

Hey Andrew, how did the bolt-on install of the Curt hitch go on your Pathfinder? Did everything line up with the factory weld nuts as expected? Your update could make it easier for the next person doing the same setup.
