Will Install of Receivers for Rapid Switch Systems Trailer Tie-Down Anchors Leave Holes in Floor

Question:
These rapid release anchor points seem close to what I need. However, I am lanning to put them in an enclosed trailer and it looks like they will put a hole in my floor when the sonnector is removed. Is there a plug available or am I able to put a solid plate on the bottom in addition or inplace of the backing ring? I put e-track on my floor but I am regularly loading carts and the etrack will catch the loded carts and prevent them from gettign into proper position. I am looking for somethign that is more flush and this Rapid release system looks good. How can I cover the hole when the anchor point is removed?

Hey James, this is a great question but yes the Receivers for Rapid Switch Systems Trailer Tie-Down Anchors # RS24FR would put a hole in the floor of your trailer and when left open the hole would be 1-1/4 inches. We don't have a plug or cap for these but if you searched online for a 1-1/4 inch rubber insert I am sure you could find something that would work well for this.

Hey James, were you able to find a 1-1/4 inch rubber insert that worked to cover the hole in your trailer floor? Knowing what you used could help others trying the same Rapid Switch setup.
