Recommended Tonneau Cover for a 2023 Ford F-150 w/a 6-1/2' Bed and a TracRac SR Sliding Ladder Rack

I have an 2023 F150 with the 6-1/2ft bed. I want this Thule SR rack and a Bakflip hard cover that works with it together. Which ones fit with the Thule rack? Also do to cost in want to get the cover this year and then add the rack next year. I assume that it should be no issue to install the rack later.

Hey Timm. There's four BAKFlip hard folding tonneau covers that are going to fit your 2023 Ford F-150 with a 6-1/2' bed and be compatible with the Thule TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Rack item # TH43002XT-501. I have listed them below:
BAKFlip F1 Hard Tonneau Cover - Folding - Aluminum and Fiberglass item # BAK38FR
BAKFlip MX4 Hard Tonneau Cover - Folding - Aluminum - Matte Finish item # BAK46FR
BAKFlip FiberMax Hard Tonneau Cover - Folding - Aluminum and Fiberglass item # BAK86FR
BAKFlip G2 Hard Tonneau Cover - Folding - Aluminum item # BAK56FR
Seeing as how you're mounting a ladder rack over your cover, I recommend going with one of the fiberglass and aluminum ones, item # BAK38FR or item # BAK86FR, for extra strength incase you drop something on it.
You'll definitely need to install the tonneau cover first so there's going to be no issue waiting on installing the item # TH43002XT-501.
Please note that with any folding cover you will have to slide the rear uprights of the ladder rack forward every time you want to open it.

Thanks for the feedback. I’ll probably order the BAK38FR as it seems thicker. I’m mostly gonna use the rack for our kayaks and transporting lumber.
