Is there a model that doesn’t require the 50lb minimum weight?

Hi Greg; all of the winches with the automatic brake like # DL14934 have a minimum operating load requirement. If you're fine with just a hand brake a winch like the Dutton-Lainson Hand Winch - TUFFPLATE Finish - 2 Speed - Direct Drive - 2,000 lbs # DL14730 doesn't have a minimum requirement.
