Question:
Will any of these Prime Guard types leave a taste in the drinking water lines after flushing?

Expert Reply:
After one good flush, any trace taste should disappear, Gerald. The # PG36ZR and # PG96ZR are especially clean-rinsing since they’re alcohol-free. The ethanol-based # PG56ZR might leave a light scent at first, but a vinegar rinse or Camco spring cleaner # CAM40207 clears it right up.

I used a different pink antifreeze last year and could still taste it for a few days even after flushing. Is that normal, or was I using the wrong kind?
