2021 Coachmen Clipper 17BHS Replacement 15" Wheels And Tires For 5 on 4-1/2" Hubs

Question:
We have a 2021 Coachmen Clipper 17BHS that came with Load Range C tires. Would the MXS39FR be a good upgrade? my hubs are brand new and have 5 by 4.5" lugs.

Expert Reply:
Absolutely, Jenna, your Clipper’s 3,500-lb axle and 5-on-4-1/2 hubs are a perfect match for the Maxxis ST205/75R15 Radial Tire w/ 15" Black Modular Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 # MXS39FR. You’ll bump your tire capacity up to 2,150 lbs per tire at 65 psi, giving a stronger sidewall and cooler highway temps. The radial design also smooths out towing on rougher backroads.
Do you camp mostly local, or do you pull it cross-country?
