Will Transformer Electric Dolly Connect To 5th Wheel Kingpin?
Published 10/13/2025 >
Question:
Will the Transformer Dolly connect directly to my fifth-wheel’s kingpin, or do I have to bolt something on first?

Kevin, the # PA66VR will work for that. You’ll just attach the included Kingpin Adapter, which clamps directly onto your trailer’s kingpin without modification. It locks in place using a supplied U-pin and D-clip, then slides right into the dolly’s receiver tube. Once you’ve installed the universal stabilizer bars between the dolly and the trailer frame, you’re ready to roll. Setup takes about 10–15 minutes the first time, then it’s tool-free after that.
What do you currently do to maneuver your 5th wheel trailer?
