Will Curt 4-Way/7-Way Adapter Just Carry Basic Trailer Light Functions?

So if my truck has a4 pin and my camper has a seven pin, the adapter will work the lights but will no recharge the battery at all? What if I run the truck lights ? Thanks

Hey Steve, thanks for reaching out!
Yes, the Curt Trailer Connector Adapter # C57672 will allow the ground and basic trailer light functions to work on the 7-Way end of the adapter. These will match up the light functions from your truck to your trailer.
If you're wanting to add a fully-functioning 7-Way, then you'll need to go with the Universal Wiring Upgrade Kit # ETBC7 instead. This comes with the same type of adapter, but also with the extra wiring and connectors you need to get all of those functions, like adding a charge to the trailer battery.
