2008 Fleetwood Bounder 38P Class A Motorhome Is Hard To Keep Straight Even After Alignment
Published 10/08/2025 >
Question:
Our 2008 Fleetwood Bounder 38P is exhausting to keep straight. I’ve replaced shocks, done alignments, still wanders. What else can I do?

Nate, you’ve already done the hard part - the missing piece is a steering stabilizer. Your Bounder’s 24K F-53 chassis is a perfect match for the Safe-T-Plus # ST28MR. It automatically centers the wheel and reduces the steering play you’re feeling. It’s also maintenance-free and installs without any chassis mods.
What speeds or conditions make the wander worst? That’ll help confirm how much difference you’ll notice right away.
