2020 Forest River Georgetown 368x RV Wanders All Over Road On Windy Day

Question:
My 2020 Forest River Georgetown 378X wanders all over when it’s windy. Would a steering stabilizer help, or do I just need an alignment?

Expert Reply:
Alan, if your tires are wearing evenly and the alignments in spec, then yes - a steering stabilizer like the Safe-T-Plus # ST28MR is your answer. It keeps your steering centered even when side gusts hit or the road crown changes.
Think of it as a shock absorber for your steering wheel - it smooths out all those little inputs so you can relax.
Do you know if your rig is on the F53 chassis? It looks like it is, but if not, you'll need a different steering stabilizer instead.
