Will Camco Power Grip Fit Power Watchdog
Updated 10/09/2025 | Published 10/08/2025 >
Question:
How wide is the area that the power cord plugs into the unit. I want to confirm a Camco power grip cord will plug into the unit and there is enough room for the cover to close and allow me to lock it and have weather protection. When the cord is plugged in it will need a minimum of 4 inches in order to clear the end of the handle on the plug.

Hey Rick, the opening of the Power Watchdog part # HU62VR is definitely wide enough for a Camco Power Grip power cable to fit as the Camco connectors are standard size and you can see in attached picture there's more than enough room.

How about the depth? They have a good size handle to insert your fingers to pull the cord from the EMS so will the cover close when cord is connected?
