Recommended Suspension Upgrade to Raise the Rear Height of a 2019 Coachmen Orion T20CB

Updated 10/30/2025 | Published 10/05/2025

Question:

Will the F2603 raise the rear suspension on the 2019 Coachmen Orion T20CB? The coach sits really low to the ground, and Id like it higher. Is there another solution?

Hey Daniel. The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs item # F2603 aren't designed to raise your Orion's motorhome ride height. That being said the suspension on your motorhome is most likely not able to keep up with the heavy weight placed on the chassis when the camper was installed. The amount of rise provided by the item # F2603 will vary depending on how far your current suspension is sagging.

The Firestone item # F2603 air springs are adjustable allowing you to manipulate the air pressure for the best ride quality. With the air spring mounted between your leaf springs and the frame of your Ford Transit chassis it will help to raise the chassis back up to its normal ride height before all the weight was added by Forest River.

I recommend adding the Firestone Air Command item # F2610 to your motorhome. This onboard compressor will allow you to adjust the PSI in your air bags from your phone.

Have you looked under the rear of your motorhome to see how flexed out the leaf springs are?

Hey Daniel, what did you find when you checked the leaf springs on your Orion? Knowing how much they’re flexed could show if the air springs and compressor helped bring the chassis back to normal height. Your update could make it easier for others with the same setup.
