Good question, Jerry!
I did some digging on the Switchblade, part # 311-SWDA24A55. While I don’t have the exact clearance measurement, it looks like this may not be the best option if you plan to keep your 5th wheel in the truck bed.
The Switchblade mounts inside the bed rails, so any flexing from bumps in the road could cause the cover to come into contact with the 5th wheel.
A better option would be a cover that mounts above the bed rails, like the RetraxONE MX, part # RT60243.
This cover sits about 1 inch above the rails, providing enough clearance to account for any flexing from the cover itself.
