Can Pintle Latch Be Locked Down When Using Hitch Ball To Tow With Weigh Safe WS64WR or WS89WR?

Can the latch be locked down when I’m towing with the ball, or only with the pintle?

Matt, the latch is only used in the pintle configuration with a lunette ring. When you’re on a ball coupler, the latch stays open and the coupler itself locks onto the ball.
Do you pull more pintle trailers or ball coupler trailers in your setup?
We have this 3" receiver size in up to 6" drop # WS64WR or up to 8" drop # WS89WR.
