Question:
I’ve got a 26’ pocket cruiser that stays in the slip year-round. Would the 600W XH77FR be the right size, or should I go bigger?

Dana, the Xtreme Heater 600w # XH77FR is a great fit for boats right in that 24–28 foot range. Since you’re in the water and not on a trailer, the hull helps hold warmth, so the 600W should give you plenty of protection. If you were storing on a lift, I’d suggest stepping up to the 800W # XH27FR or adding a second heater.
Do you usually get heavy freezes in your area, or just the occasional cold snap?

Thanks, Andrew. We do get a few hard freezes each winter, but the boat never leaves the water. I’ve got a small bilge space though - would it hurt anything if I went with the 800W just to be safe?
