Do you have to take the camper weight off the hitch to slide it?

Hey Alfred, this is a great question but no you do not need to take the camper weight off of the head of the B and W Patriot Slider part # BWRVK3270 to use the slider mechanism. You can get out and slide the hitch with the full weight of the trailer on the hitch.
